Chapter 10: Menu Management — 10.1 Menu Builder
Use Menu Builder to design your POS and online ordering menu. Drag and drop items to create categories, arrange your menu layout, and control what customers see when they order. Changes you make here are reflected on the POS touchscreen and QR ordering page.
When to use this: When you need to design or update the menu layout that appears on your POS screen or QR ordering page.

The Menu Builder is a dual-panel interface for organizing your product catalog into a structured menu. The left panel lists all available products (filterable by category and type), and the right panel shows the menu hierarchy where you arrange groups and items. Products are added to the menu by dragging them from the left panel to the right panel.

| Product Type | Dropdown | Filter by product type |
| Search | Text Input + Button | Search by item name |
| Product List | Scrollable List | Shows all matching products with name and price. Drag items to the Menu Hierarchy panel |
Each product card shows:

| Apply changes to all outlets | Toggle | When ON, menu changes apply to all outlets simultaneously |

| Time Window | Button (🕐) | Assign a time window (from Section 10.3) to control availability |
| Clear All | Button | Remove all items from the menu hierarchy |

3. In the Items panel, filter by category "Beverages".

5. Click Channels → enable both ● EQuipOrdering and ● ONLINE.
6. Click Add Group → "Food".
7. Drag food items into the Food group.
8. Click Time Window on the "Breakfast" group → assign "Breakfast" time window (7AM–11AM).
